Moon Hill Hostel - Sintra

The location of the hostel is central and convenient, making it easy to access public transportation. the rooms are stylish and modern, with beautiful views from some of them. the shared facilities are excellent and feel like private ones. Guests can enjoy the nice shared area in the basement, where there are two computers with internet access. the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Some guests mentioned that the staff wasn't very friendly compared to other guest houses they have stayed at.

My stay at Moon Hill was absolutely amazing. The hostel's main building, where the reception is located, was fantastic in every way. The bed and sheets were soft and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of fruits, bread, scrambled eggs, and natural orange juice. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. Additionally, the location was perfect, close to everything, and having breakfast included allowed me to easily start my day. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the communal bathrooms were always clean and accessible. I highly recommend requesting the private en-suite room with the incredible view of the town's palace and the Moorish castle.

Fantastic modern hostel in central location. the staff were friendly and always willing to help. the facilities were clean and modern, with additional toilets and showers on every floor. the onsite restaurant had delicious food and the breakfast served there was really good. the location was great, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. It was also just a 5-minute walk to the train station. the dorms were clean and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms. I highly recommend this place for a stay in the area.

There were a few cleanliness issues upon arrival, with a not so clean ensuite bathroom and a lack of hand wash and toilet paper in some common areas. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed to ensure a more hygienic and comfortable stay.

Convenient for dropping off bags before check-in. the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and one even went above and beyond to assist with a cut. the beds in the 4-bed mixed bedroom are comfy, with personal plugs and reading lights. the in-suite bathroom is cozy, although the motion sensing lights can be a bit annoying. the hostel itself is modern and undergoing renovations, looking stylish. the price includes breakfast, which consists of ham, cheese, bread, coffee.
